The sole airport for Kangaroo Island, Kingscote Airport operates throughout the week, closing its doors once the last scheduled flight for the day is over. All aircrafts can seat up to 36 passengers (all planes are Saab 340 aircrafts) with flights departing from Adelaide twice daily. Car rentals and private transfers can be made onsite as there are no taxis or public transport for passengers.
