ABOUT THIS AIRCRAFT
The Yak 40 is often called the first regional jet transport aircraft, preceding the ERJ-135 and 328JET by three decades. Popular in Russia, however it is less common in Europe due to noise restrictions. With three engines this aircraft can reach an extended range in comparison to other mid sized aircraft.
